Cezanne would leave blank spaces in his canvases if he couldn't account for the brush stroke... couldn't... give a reason for the colour. I am a collage of unaccounted-for brush strokes.
To my lovely followers…
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???
http://www.formspring.com/forms/?740376-dJi5HI0Co0
I opened my e-mails for the first time in ages and found this in my formspring.
sigh.
i know my tumblr has been in impossible neglect, and i know i’m not good at this whole formspring thing (…i would love to respond, really! it’s just a billion people said hi. and i didn’t know how to say hi back. if you haven’t picked this up yet, i’m a bit of an awkward person.)
i just kinda realized after a less-than-stellar first quarter that, HEY wait a sec, I’m a junior in high school who has hopes of becoming a doctor someday. So I had to go on a tumblr-pause. And in all honesty, today is one of the worst days I could have chosen to resume posting a few things. But after reading the above comment, I just couldn’t help myself.
so!
here are the posts of (many) of the people who have written in my formspring. thank you for reminding me that people care. even when i don’t feel like they should.
hi. you take pretty photos.
heh. i do try. my darling camara’s a bit on the frits, though! i have to get him fixed. summer on the beach didn’t exactly agree with his insides. i think there’s some sand where sand should not be.
…i need to learn how to take care of things.
why have a formspring if you’re not gonna respond?
i hope everything i said above was explanation enough… i appreciate the comments; they make me happy. i’m just running around like a chicken with its head cut off. i’m going to try to do better, in the future.
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
here we are! one of those “hello” comments i have no idea how to respond to. well. i’m going to do my best.
hi! i’m currently not studying for my apush test on three chapters i haven’t even read yet. i’m currently not writing the rough draft of my english essay due tomorrow, nor am i writing the two-page response to a cute little passage by nathanael hawthorne that is also being collected on this deliciously appealing tuesday. i am listening to staralfur by sigur ros, and it is making everything all better. i’ll post it later, even though in all likelihood it’s not your type of music, whoever you are. au revoire!
hey!
oh hi there! i’m still listening to staralfur. i’m also getting ready to go eat dinner. hamburgers. yum. do you like orchestral pieces? do you listen to music in different languages? i hope you do. because that kind of music really clears out my head when i’m feeling all frazzled. like i do so often, these days. and it’s nice to not be frazzled. oh and! what did you have for dinner?
hullo there!!
‘ello! i’m listening to glosoli now. also by sigur ros. do you have a favorite artist? i didn’t for a really long time. and i know so many people who like too many genres of music to pick one artist. but sigur ros really is my favorite. in case you don’t know, they’re from iceland. and they’re music is in icelandic. and it feels so. right.
you know the saying: curiousity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back? i haven’t felt satisfied in a long time. which is random, but i was thinking about it because i’ve been asking so many questions.
toodle-oo!
